Tagboard removed!

Since many people is abusing the comment system using my tag board I must remove it along with other services I have put up.

Why I don't update this blog more often?

I have a long working week consisting of 6 days and normally I don't have internet at home to update and sometimes I don't have time to sit at work to blogging. I work as waitress and now I got more duties so I'm extremely busy.
So in order to not having a blog being a must to do every day I'll let myself doing others offline.

  • Music Cascada: Last Christmas
Today has been a little more work in the restaurant as there were more people ordering take away so I didn't exspected that to happen. It's already 21st September and soon October is here. Lately I have been taking Chinese classes by watching some on Youtube and also contacted a Chinese student to teach me but so far we have met once. The second week she had to cancel due to her school changed scheduled for the day and I thought it was too late to get to Lund and be back before dinner time wasn't worth it. So far I have put the Chinese lessons away for 2 days as I get so tired from switching back and forth between 3 languages. My brain needs to switch from Swedish, English and Chinese. After I came home from work I went out grocery shopping to get some me time and buy some orange marmelade and cheese. I don't have a toaster and I really miss toasted bread with cheese and marmalade. I guess I got to make some scones in the morning and eat it instead. Then I went directly to blogthings and the first quiz I got was this:

You Are a Hedonist
You have trouble turning down good food and drink. Life is for the living, and you're going to celebrate.
You don't have an old fashioned bone in your body. You're all about what's modern and new.

You are at times a bit irresponsible. You prefer living in the moment to worrying about tomorrow.
You find other people to be a delight. You rarely complain about your friends.

The story of being chosen

So much has happened and now I'm cleaning up all the spam and will do it later when I have more time. I guess the updates will be coming into shorter post now to catch up almost 1 year of lost information. Last time I used this site to blog was being chosen as consumer test person and yes I was selected. But in the end I couldn't use the strawberry and chocolate whipped cream because my work got too much and I didn't have an internet or computer to blog. Neither did I have time to make a cake either and it was a shame I guess.

Since then my work has been taking a difficult road to walk and due to the private nature I won't tell you what exactly happened but right now I'm waiting for being unemployed later. When I'm done I will do this things I haven't done for myself.

* Haircut
* Going to Theatre or cinema
* Dining out or sipping coffee
* Speak Chinese
* Looking for another job
* Involve more into Couchsurfing project as I have been away from it for always 2 years due to overload of work and no time for other things.
* Hmm maybe discover Malmö more from a tourist eyes and try to make "Visit Malmö most worth tourist attraction with low budget"

Now to something else, somebody was wondering if I have forgotten about my blog, no I haven't. I just got other interests aswell and started to take small steps to take it up. Since this year my best friend got a job here and got her own apartment I was visiting her, helping her and divide my free time on cooking, cleaning my place, planting chili fruit, clean my aquarium and read. As tradition here is a result from a nice quiz:

You Are a Green Apple
You're a pretty traditional person. You believe that if something has lasted, then it's probably good.
You think that living the good life is pretty simple. If you behave responsibly and ethically, good things will come to you.

You are a loner and prefer to keep to yourself. You love solitude.
You are super productive. People are amazed by how much you are able to get done.

I was chosen!

At the beginning of this month I saw one of the bigger milk companies just released they needed some tasting persons who could blog about  whipped cream with flavours.
They released Whipped cream with strawberry flavour and whipped cream with chocolate. Today I got to know I was chosen to be one of the 1000 persons out of 3000 to do this. I'm so excited

Do you know how long we have waited for this to happen in Sweden? Now us amateur pastry chef can make wonderful birthday cake without do that chore of put flavours in the whipped cream to create colours!

I will post a continuation about this later

Cold November Day

Today was one of the first real cold days, I woke up early, made some calls and went out to Lindängen Centre to collect a parcel, turn some books to the library and borrowed some food books to read.
Then I went to the pharmacy to get some medical stuff for my boyfriend and one medicine for myself.

When I went back it was nearly 11:20 AM and my boyfriend just woke up. After 30 minutes we went out to eat lunch at Burger King in the Triangel Shopping mall, get myself a pair of winter boots as I need one. I couldn't find the timbaland boots I wanted so this one was a second choice and much cheaper.

After the shopping I went to Espresso House (equal to Starbucks in selection of coffe and desserts) and got yummy blueberry pie with lots of whipped cream on the top and a mocha caffe latte accompanied the delicious pie. Afterwards I knew my mom was going to cook dinner so I surprised her and my youngest sister with a portion of sushi. In the evening I went out last minute to borrow some books from the library to read and now it's time for sleep. Need to wake up tomorrow early to a very cold November morning to start working again....

November is here

And I spent the first day of November with taking the bus to see a new part of Malmö. Although the weather has been strange for the past 4 days I need to remind all of you that Christmas is here and I hope this quiz result will cheer you up.

You Are Crisp Autumn Morning Air
You love to feel alive and awake. For you, fall is somewhat of a rebirth.
Even though autumn brings some death, it always makes you feel vibrant and excited.

Something about cooler days, longer nights, and changing leaves deeply touches you.
You feel motivated and driven in the fall. You feel like you can start over and be whoever you want to be.

25th of October

Time is flying by, I know I still got a studying guide to read and do but all my things are in my older computer. My boyfriend is using it all the time nowadays so I have to make a big move of my files another day when I'm free and he is sleeping. This week is Halloween and the planned event for my brother's pub is going as planned. My mission today was buying very cheap cloth, whites ones for the tables, candles with fragrance for the atnosphere and red cloth suitable as the red carpet. I went to IKEA to have lunch and this is my mind settled on.Today's special was with fries/chips/pommes frites and I ate already two or three times this week so meatballs, with mashed potatoes and lingonberry jam was my lunch.

While I was walking around I bought a green candle with apple fragrance, vegetarian pizza slices, buns with clotted cream, chocolate as shell with coconut sprinkles, two tea strainers, two hot dogs for my boyfriend, a green thermos bottle and a baby blue blanket. I really wanted this sun driven table lamp as I need one on the table when I write or study. It's very classical design and no wires is required. The price is very cheap I think.

While I was out I bought an air pump for my aquarium and ten new fishes. Hopefully it would be a better oxygen flow and less stagnant water.

Last week when I was downtown I saw "The English Shop" has finally opened and I got two packages of crumpets. I really miss Nottingham and all the people I got as friends there.

For dinner I made potato gratin with thick sliced smoked ham for the family today. For weeks I've been lazy to cook dinner but today I had more energy to clean the toilet, cook dinner, clean my aquarium and blog

I was thinking but some things will be delayed.

I have thought making apple pie with a special spice I received many years but I never got it done because I didn't feel like cooking. And then I thought I want to make banana cake because I had banana cravings. I never did any baking at all. Yesterday I was doing some errands, giving away books to red cross and did a huge spring cleaning on my room as we were setting up my new bed. It's really tiring to clean up,especially when a piano is in the way and there are no other place for it.

I noticed the work has taken a lot of my time, next week the chimney sweeper will be here before lunch time so it's getting up early, arrive to the restaurant and let they do whatever they do, eat lunch downtown and try to get back as early as I can to try to read a little or play a little on Subeta or Facebook.
Then I need to create some things for Halloween event at the pub, I don't even know if school is important anymore. I don't feel like reading the studying guide and writing up a plan, the more I'm thinking about it, it gives me headache. I rarely have time for school.

It's that time of the year again....APPLE loads of apples!

Yeah, that's right. Every year my favourite season is AUTUMN. Why? It's because everything renews and you can cosy yourself under a blanket with a cup of hot chocolate and homemade apple pie. This year I've been using the apples in a green salad rather than bake it. I hope I can my hands on more apple from our tree so I can use a special secret spice I've received 3 years ago.
I hope I can make a banana cake too as I bananas in my mind. Just need over ripe bananas so I can get the sweet taste from the fruits. I just wish I have some friends baking with me but nowadays they are busy when I'm free. I'm always free on Mondays but none of them are. One thing that I really want to bake is blueberry pie. Let's see how far I've come the baking cravings as I some things to do this Monday, as I got a new laptop to play with

You Are a Gala Apple
You are cute and sweet. It's hard for people to resist your simple charms.
You are a hybrid of a couple different influences. And you change as you're life goes on.

You are sassy and fresh. You have a distinct personality, but you are never too over the top.
You are the kind of friend that stands the test of time. You are true to those you love, even as times and relationships change.

Same minds same souls?

Today I meet my friend Mirela. She had her birthday last week but I didn't get to celebrate it as I was working. So today I surprised her by taking her to a high class Swedish all you can eat buffet with chicken breast fillet, beef fillet and pork fillet on the menu with many fresh salad choices and delicious sauces.I treated her to the meal and gave her a box with chocolate, mascara and make up brushes. But the funny part was that she gave me a couple of the same chocolate as the one I bought a box of chocolate for her. We are still laughing at it as we have the same though, same minds so it's kind of scary that we share like this. Even though we have different kind of life style but the exact thoughs about life in general. After the dinner we went across the square to take a couple of drinks at Mello Yello in Lilla Torg in Malmö. At 10 pm we break up as we are going to work the next day both of us. Right now I'm using my father's computer to write this but I'm going to buy a new one. Just need to keep my eyes for offers on good computers for a low price.
