Today I was partly watching about an entrepreneurship program on TV and the mentor said to her pupil that she needs to learn how to say thank you when someone is nice to you. The basic is when people complement you, don't say:
- Thank you, but my hair is not clean enough and I look awful in this dress.
The fault in this sentence is don't say BUT after thanking someone as it only made the person who was impressed by you, awkward as you don't respect his or her opinion. So next time please say only "Thank you, I'm glad you like it"
1 Amount of Cheers.
